Jeddo Coal Company #85, "Mack," is a standard gauge, coal burning, 0-4-0 Tank Steam Engine owned and restored by Gramling Locomotive Works. The Jeddo Coal #85 comes to the Florida Railroad Museum in January and February, 2020. Experience the thrill of a live steam engine! Listen to the whistle, the steam escaping and the huffing and puffing as the train pulls away from the station. Learn how the engine works and why so few are still operating in the United States today.

Ride in the Cab!

Take a 1 hour and 45 minute round-trip ride in the cab of the Jeddo Coal #85. Watch as the crew operates the locomotive and keeps the fire hot with each shovelful of coal. Limited to one participant per train!

CAUTION: Cab ride participant must be in physically fit condition and able to endure hot temperatures, a dusty environment and a bumpy ride. Long sleeves and pants strongly recommended. Not responsible for damage to clothing.

Be a Steam Train Engineer!

Join the crew of Jeddo Coal #85 and learn how to operate the throttle of this engine. Participants will receive 15 minutes at the throttle operating the Jeddo Coal on our main track in Parrish.

Participants must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Steam engine cab is a hot, dirty and noisy environment.
